Privacy Policy

The short version

ThermoMath does not collect, store, or sell personal information. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser — no inputs are transmitted to any server. You can use every tool on this site without giving us your name, email address, or any other identifying information.

Information we do not collect

• Calculator inputs (room dimensions, BTU values, energy rates, etc.)
• Names, email addresses, or account credentials
• Payment information (there is nothing to pay for)
• Device identifiers or fingerprints

All computation happens client-side in JavaScript. Input values never leave your device.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track users across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. The data it captures is limited to aggregate page views, referrer sources, and rough geographic region (country level). No IP addresses are stored. You do not need to opt in or out — Plausible is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR by design.

Cookies & local storage

ThermoMath does not set any cookies. Your light/dark mode preference is saved in localStorage under the key theme. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to any server or third party. Plausible does not set any cookies either.

Third-party services

This site is hosted on Vercel. When your browser loads a page, Vercel's servers process the request and may temporarily log standard web server data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) as part of normal infrastructure operation. Vercel's privacy policy governs that data.

No advertising networks, social media trackers, or remarketing pixels are present on this site.

Children

ThermoMath is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add features that change how data is handled, we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Because we do not collect email addresses, we cannot notify you directly — check back here if you have questions.
